It doesn't even tell me a firmware upgrade is available. It doesn't even let me click the firmware update option. It's just greyed out. Any help? Which is a problem because Kies 2.0 doesn't have a tethering option (i'm told you can use froyo to tether) and I need internet for my computer. It's detecting the galaxy fine on kies when I connect it. Is there some way to tell if i'm having connection problems? You could read up on rooting and flashing if you want Froyo badly. Upgrade button is greyed out. I bought my phone off ebay brand new (unlocked) but with pre-installed apps on it, and I am with Optus on a post-paid plan now. Have you had any luck finding a solution yet? Very frustrating!
