Hello all,

(I posted this in Ring tones sorry if wrong place)

Please can somebody help me.
I really need to turn the ascending ring tone off,  by the time it gets to full volume (In my pocket)i am missing calls. This is not good as it make my business look bad.

If i cannot sort this i may have to change my handset.

There's no way to change that ATM.

What you can do is to extend the length of time your phone rings before forwarding to your voicemail.

On your dialer:

1. Dial *#61# and click Send.
2. Some information should be displayed, number that the calls are being forwarded to and the delay before the call is forwarded.

If you see less than 30 seconds, continue as below...

3. Write down the number including +, tap OK.
4. Dial **61*+###############*11*30# and hit Send. (+############### is the number you wrote down previously, 30 is the delay in seconds. The delay can be set in 5 second increments, 30 is maximum.)
5. Dial *#61# to verify that the new setting is activated.

Hi, I had the same problem, when I dialled *#61# I got forwarding number after 15s.

As I do NOT use voicemail I did change values in Settings>Call settings>Voice Call>Call forwarding and there I disabled all forwarding settings.

Now my phone rings and rings and rings forever  Big Grin .

My Business calls are forwarded to my mobile when im out, People hang up before i here the phone ringing and get it out of my pocket to answer it.
This is a BIG problem to me, changing the settings doesnt work when people hang up!
My clients want to talk to me not leave a message, SAMSUNG have made a massive cock up as far as im concerned.
If this is not fixed soon i will have no choice but to sell this phone and buy a better one.
Come on Samsung pull yer finger out, sort this problem.

From my experience from the Omnias (i900 & i8000), seems like this is a standard for Samsung. They'll never change.

It's either reduce the timing for your Business calls before it starts to transfer to your mobile or put in a louder ringtone.
