The embeded E-mail client in Galaxy S does not support Yahoo E-mail accounts (unless they are pro or something). You have to download from Android Market the Yahoo Mail application.

Hope this helps.

You can setup any email as long as it supports pop3, imap, or exchange.  Make sure you use the "Email" app though, not Gmail.

I was unable to set a Yahoo account using the embedded E-mail client (not the G-mail E-mail client). Maybe it will work with the manual settings, which I do not know.

However, I found another solution (besides using the Yahoo Mail from the Android Market): K9 Mail does support Yahoo accounts, it is better that the original E-mail client, and setting the account is a breeze. It is not very stable though....

Well as long as it works Happy  I might check K9 myself, I'm always in a look out for better apps.  Thanks!
