Voice call & Video call App (3G/WiFi/Data Plan)

We all know Yahoo soon will release application for voice and video call running on 3G or WiFi.
And by today they already lunch for iphone app.

I hope Yahoo release best among the best.
I’m always using Yahoo on my PC to communicate and chat.
I'm android user with Samsung Galaxy S with without voice plan only data plan.
I'm always looking messenger with voice/video call without any commercial, or other word is free application over 3G or WiFi data plan.
Also I don't like application running in background (when boot) after installation, or running as service unable to close completely.
It makes your phone drain so much battery!

So far I tried and below my opinion:

1. Fring:
   - Android to Android: Yes (Chat, Voice, Video Call)
   - PC to Android: No
   - Multi Messenger Add-On: Yes (Google, Yahoo, ICQ, AIM, SIP, Local Address book)
   - Commercial effect: Yes (fringout; starting at version 2.1.1.24)
   - Running on background on boot: Yes
   - Running on background as service standby: Yes
   - GUI interface: 7/10
   - Camera: Unable to switch between front and back (default front). If camera doesn’t have front camera will showing on back camera.
   - Website: http://www.fring.com
   - My comment: Full screen on video call not available. Starting to do commercial I don’t like. Quality of voice call or video call so far ok.

2. Skype:
   - Android to Android: ?
   - PC to Android: ?
   - Multi Messenger Add-on: No
   - Commercial effect: I guess most likely yes.
   - Running on background on boot: Yes
   - Running on background as service standby: Yes
   - GUI interface: 8/10
   - Camera: ?
   - Website: http://www.skype.com
   - My comment: Still no improve on my Samsung Galaxy S, unable to run. Only first time after installation, able to run. Subsequences unable to login/sign-in.

3. Tango:
   - Android to Android: Yes
   - PC to Android: No
   - Multi Messenger Add-on: No
   - Commercial effect: Currently No.
   - Running on background on boot: Yes
   - Running on background as service standby: Yes
   - GUI interface: 8/10
   - Camera: It seem able to switch between front and back. I’m not tried yet.

   - My comment: People said are easy to add friends and contact. To me I said NO. Difficult to add other contact, required invitation using only email or sms. No manual add friends/contacts. (When I invite using other friend using CC email to tag other person, I guess will same with SMS).

4. imovicha
   - Android to Android: Yes
   - PC to Android: Yes
   - Multi Messenger Add-on: No
   - Commercial effect: Currently No.
   - Running on background on boot: No
   - Running on background as service standby: No
   - GUI interface: 4/10
   - Camera: Only back camera, and facing only landscape. Not able tilt to portrait.
   - Website: http://movicha.com
   - My comment: So far, application able crosses platforms. From PC to Android. And Android to Android. Very poor quality call and video too much latency.

5. talkonaut
   - Android to Android: Yes
   - PC to Android: No
   - Multi Messenger Add-on: Yes (Jabber, Google Talk, ICQ, MSN, AIM and Yahoo)
   - Commercial effect: Currently No.
   - Running on background on boot: No
   - Running on background as service standby: No
   - GUI interface: 2/10
   - Camera: Only back camera, and facing only landscape. Not able tilt to portrait.
   - Website: http://www.talkonaut.com
   - My comment: No stable application, hard to navigate, to many buggies. GUI terrible. Tried once possible to call from PC to Android, or Android to PC. Android to Android also able to do so.

6. sipdroid
   - Android to Android: Not sure
   - PC to Android: Not sure
   - Multi Messenger Add-on: Not sure
   - Commercial effect: Currently No.
   - Running on background on boot: Yes
   - Running on background as service standby: Yes
   - GUI interface: 6/10
   - Camera: Not usre
   - Website: http://sipdroid.org
   - My comment: The most difficult application to install, if you not advance user. And not understand about SIP protocol and technologies. It seem must have number in order to use.

7. Qik
   - Android to Android: Not sure
   - PC to Android: Not sure
   - Multi Messenger Add-on: Not sure
   - Commercial effect: Currently No.
   - Running on background on boot: Yes
   - Running on background as service standby: Yes
   - GUI interface: 7/10
   - Camera: Not sure
   - Website: http://qik.com
   - My comment: To me is just video share like youtube. Just record then upload. What is the point? We were using android youtube able to do this already. Voice call not supported on my phone.

Skype is still not supported on Galaxy S.

   - My comment: Unable to make only voice call, it must be voice+video call. It seem video and voice very lag. Although put in hand free on my phone, sound still coming out from speaker phone *very weird*, same like iMovicha. Very lag it seem due to my stupid ISP
