I've just got a Galaxy S and I've transferred an MS Word file and an MS Excel file to the phone. I can't seem to edit the files. I thought this function was available within the ThinkFree software. Can anyone enlighten me?

Hi,

yes. You can open and edit using "ThinkFree Office". Grab from Market!

I've already got the ThinkFree software installed on my phone but when I open the files there is no way to edit them. There are no options in Thinkfree to do anything such as you would find in MS Word or Excel on a PC!

Open the file in "Think Free". Tap menu then tap "file". Tap "Send". You can choose Bluetooth or Dropbox or Email or Gmail. To upload use "Dropbox" from Market.

How do you freeze panes in thinkfree calc?

Open a file. Tap "Menu" then "edit". It appears a menu bar at the bottom.
The "button: <>" is for column width. See the picture.(The second one from left on the bottom).

thanks saszeb, but what I mean by "freezing panes" is how to lock certain row and column (for example: title row like "names", "address", "phone" etc, and item column like "no.", "date") so they will not move when I scroll them up-down and sideways.

Anyway, thanks again..
