There is no need for an application. They are built into the handsets already. I'm assuming that you're using the Galaxy S... in which case I find that if you pull the notifaction bar down, and then click the vibrate button, that does the job... put's the phone onto silent and vibrates. (one of the nice things about Samsung's modifications to Android I believe) I agree, the profiles don't seem to be as easy to adjust as they were on the old Nokia's, but yeah, this works for me. Samsung need to address this, i miss calls because of this (when in pocket) Nokia not the best phones but sgs has some major flaws.
