I have asked this on a Samsung Captivate only forum and multiple people are having the same issue, so I am spreading my search to all Galaxy S phones.

If you download the G4 App, open it up and click Settings, More, Shows, click on any of the shows and then click on a video.  The video comes up and plays but there is a box that also shows up that says "Can not play video, Sorry, this video can not be played".  The only option is to click ok and if you do that it closes the video and goes back to the home screen.  If you do not click OK, the video will play all the way to the end with no issues.
The other weird thing is, if you watch a video from the opening screen, they all work just fine.   But the show specific ones do not show up there.

What I would like to know is, are other Galaxy S phones (Vibrant/Fascinate) having this issue also?

Either way, can you post with which phone you have and if it is/isn't rooted?  That way I can see if it is an issue with the Phone/OS or just the app on the Captivate and the silly restrictions that At&t puts on these phones.

Thanks in advance for all those who take the time to read and possibly assist.

I was going to see if I could reproduce your issue but couldn't find the app on the market and when I tried using the link from G4TV it didn't work. I'm going to say there's a problem with the app.

Soooo, yea.  They updated the application and it worked.  I was able to watch video's on and off wifi, it was great for a couple of days.

Then I installed the "un-offical" froyo update for the captivate and now the G4 app doesn't even show up in the apps list of the android market place.

I can't win for loosing.   LoL

Which one is more important?  Being able to use Flash on my smart phone or G4 app.......

The official update is supposed to happen later this month and you could use skyfire until then. How important is the G4 app for you?

BTW I hate it when that happens, everything good but you  ...just...can't...resist... doing something Laugh

Now, you can go to the G4 website and it opens in the mobile setting.  It's the website that has been into a iphone app and it works with my Captivate.  YAY!!!!!
