Apparently after the froyo update the default Chinese keypad no longer allows you to quickly switch between input methods. (thanks Samsung!)

Does anyone know of a Chinese IME that supports both pinyin and hand written input? Bringing up the options menu just to switch between input methods wastes a lot of time.

I looked through the market but couldn't find anything. Probably not a whole lot of demand, pretty much just useful for those studying Chinese.

Thanks.

Actually you can either have English/pinyin (Swype now has Chinese as a language!), or handwriting and english in teh Chinese Keyboard.  I use the Hanping Chinese Dictionary and find the english / handwriting mix ok for characters I cannot remember, and Swype for pinyin input.

I tried several times in their approach, each time, I hope that the Chinese script is displayed. He never. Sub-programs include the book Japanese and Korean, but the Chinese have not, so I can not even make a choice. Interestingly, the applet three dictionaries in Asia.
