Hi all,

I have just recently acquired my Galaxy S2 and love it.

I have installed ADW Launcher Ex and Go Launcher so that I have some themes to use.

The query I have is that when using ADW Launcher Ex, the icons on the dock bar don't always update to the theme. This is also evident in the applications drawer as well.

The icons which refuse to change to the theme are:
* Phone dialer icon
* Contacts list icon
* Messages icon

These all change when using Go Launcher, and I can manually change them after applying a theme using ADW Launcher Ex.  I think I saw them change when I first loaded the app, but now they refuse to change unless I do it manually.  There are icons available to change them for each of the themes as well.

I have seen in other forums that people don't seem to have this problem, and one of my friends also uses the exact same themes as I do with what appear to be the same settings in the launcher, and his changes everthing.

Is it possible that I have changed a setting on the phone itself which doesn't allow ADW Launcher EX to modify those few icons or would it be something in the launcher itself?

Any assistance I can get will be most gratefully accepted.

Hi.

I have the same issue. If anybody has a solution it would be much appreciated. In the meantime I'll just keep using GO Launcher Ex.
