that's what I figure, thus the wait. I only want to see flash on one site and since they have an app for the iPhone (no flash there either) and are working on android I have hope. I did update my OS so I had the 3 button fix so I know updates happen.

Well November is already over. I remember seeing a post somewhere where you mentioned that your carrier will provide the update sometime in Feb if I am not mistaken. Damn, that is a long wait. Sad

Last I saw was December. I like the phone as is now that I have the APNdroid installed. I have no lag issues and as long as I wait I'm not going to root (so I don't have to unroot before I update)

Weird eh?

Nah I felt the same way. Why do the the work twice.

But it meant holding the pause button for too long for me.

Unboxing of the Nexus S,

Damn, it's got me singing, "Maybe I need to upgrade" song.

The Pros over the Galaxy S would be:

Camera Flash,
Ginger Bread,
Since it's a Nexus it should get  other updates faster or rather I mean first.
Snappier. But from what I understand they have the same processors, so it may be the OS.
NFC, Well I don't need it but it's cool.

Cons.
No Memory Card.
I just bought the Galaxy S.

-----------------------------------------------
Seems inciting, but I will probably stick the S, Odin and Heimdall with take care of the updates. TBH, I am waiting for a new meego device. I love my Galaxy S but I want to see what Meego has in store.

Peace.

That is a tough call for sure. One thing I really like about the smart phones I've had recently is the external card. I think that's a deal breaker for me. Not because I use that much memory but because that's where I store pics, books and personal data.

Nexus S has the flash and that's about the only advantage over the SGS. I'm impressed with the low lighting pics I get now so that's not really a big deal.

By the time 2.3 is widely available I'll be willing the fiddle with my device and do flashes that void the warranty Big Smile Although I like the touchwiz interface, I may try vanilla with a pro. Time will tell.
