Kies connection issues overcome

I too had problems linking a new Galaxy SII to Kies by USB-
I found that it initially worked and then would not.
When I went to link it with Wi Fi - it said it was still linked;
I removed the battery and once I started up and went to link with Kies I immediately could connect to Kies -
Appears that you have to disconnect the USB properly in the first place as opposed to just removing the USB by way of pulling it out
To do it right - right click on phone name and 'disconnect'
