Is there any way to make the keyboard bigger? This is my first touch screen and I am having trouble typing with the default size. I can't figure out how to do it in Settings, is there an app that can do it? Thanks so much.

There are other options for overcoming the small keyboard. I am a very big fan of Swype and have been using it since I discovered it. Might be worth checking it out on Google Play.

The other option is to have screen rotation on and when you need to type, tilt the phone into it's side and the keyboard will become larger.

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS take advantage of having Google on your phone! Save all contacts to GMail and they never get lost, wiped, replaced etc.

Titanium Backup for apps and data. SMS Backup & Restore for messages.

If you have any questions, please do a search before posting a new thread and if you can't find anything, then try to put the new thread into the correct forum.

Large Print Keyboards may seem quite simple but they can really be a big help for many people. If you are having trouble seeing the small letters on a traditional keyboard than a keyboard with really big letters will be a big help to you. Here is everything you need to know about Large Print Keyboards.
