[Q] Captivate Using Bluetooth GPS vs Internal?

Hello Everyone.

I just recently updated my Samsung Captivate i869 to 2.3.3 (stock).  I have only experienced mild fustration with the internal GPS with apps but useable for the most part.  My only issue is the battery drain using the GPS.  I was thinking about using an external Bluetooth GPS to help solve the battery drain issue.  Does anyone here use a bluetooth gps receiver?

ASIDE: I read elsewhere people recommended the Tom TOM Gps receiver.  One user (captivate owner) reviewed the unit on amazon and could not successfully use the device.  Tom Tom also does not support the device anymore so help is not on the way.
