I also want to upgrade to 2.3, i have Galaxy S 4g from T Mobile, if there's a official upgrade please let us know.

As usual everything is fine after an upgrade and problems start to happen after a few days.

The problem is back even with Android 2.3.3

While listening to music, the MP3 player skips to another songs, skips again and finally stops playing any songs.

I notice that the data transfer icon was active at the same time. So certainly one application was updating data.

Need to power off / on to recover.

Quite annoying to stay polite.

Mike,

I live in Hong Kong and upgraded through Kies.
The software update (DOTA) on the phone never proposed any new version but Kies did.
