Hey all,

Since a few days both the Message and Contacts Icons are gone from the bottom line on my Galaxy S. The Phone and Applications icon are still there. I have placed the two missing ones on the upper part, but they take space there and are not available on the other screens. Since they disappeared, I have restarted several times, but to no avail. A picture of the screen has been attached (Berichten =Messages, Contacten=Contacts, Telefoon=Telephone and Applicaties=Applications)
Anyone with a solution to get those back where they belong?

Thanks, Hugo

Use "Go Launcher Ex" or "Launcher Pro" or "Zeam" instead of TW launcher.
You can grab them from Market.

Hé Prikkeldraad,

I've had the same problem and could fix it without use of any other program:
Go to your home screen and click on "applications";
Click the left button (next to your home button) and select "Edit";
Drag the applications "Messages" and "Contacts" to the bottom bar and you're ready ....

Greetings Jayzer

@Jayzer -- Yes. Thanks for the quick and clean solution to this problem of icons disappearing from the bottom row of the home screen.  Solved my problem much faster than if I'd contacted my mobile phone provider's customer support personnel.
