What was the in the Galaxy Pack App?
Where did you get the link to 4Shared from?
And how did you install?

ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS take advantage of having Google on your phone! Save all contacts to GMail and they never get lost, wiped, replaced etc.

Titanium Backup for apps and data. SMS Backup & Restore for messages.

If you have any questions, please do a search before posting a new thread and if you can't find anything, then try to put the new thread into the correct forum.

Usual download, just a install.apk... After i installed it, it needed to update. The app is about live wallpapers.

I was asking whether the app immediately updated (after install) OR if the phone needed updating.

If you were rooted, you could've easily removed the app but it seems as though the app may come with a virus or advert that is causing this issue.

Technically, if you download an app, you have the authority to remove it.

We need more information about the issue before we can help.

There are apps that can remove other apps, these are called app managers. One I used to used before I rooted my phone was Android Assistant. It has many functions including installing and removing apps

Dude I had the exact same problem for this app. Here's what you do:

1. Go to 'Settings' - 'Security' - 'Device Administrator'
2. Uncheck the box next to 'Galaxy Pack'
3. You are now able to uninstall it Happy)

Happy to help x
