I have looked all over the forums and the web for this and I am not seeing any definitive resolution... I just picked up a Vibrant and GPS goes out randomly and phone just seems to be running VERY slow... My room mate works for T-Mobile and he was not even able to figure this out... Kies 2.0 will not recognize my device... some one please let a noob know what to do next... :-)
I just want my update!! On 2.2 Froyo... Is there not a 2.3 update for my device?
1. Have you installed the Samsung USB driver?
2. go>menu>settings>applications>manage application>hit "all">scroll down to Maps>hit clear data. Can you check in gps.conf file (/etc) how many lines there are in there?
3. Have you updated your phone? I think, no.
