Clayfield, I (and from web searches many others) have the same problem. Unfortunately you have had no replies to help me or you. Come on Samsung, surely a great organisation such as yours can manage a reply as how to use Kies latest version to sync android 4.0.3 with Outlook 2010 or save many people a lot of time by advising that it is not possible at this time?????

Hey Mr. Stmewan   outlook will now sync with the cell via Kies  I down loaded the latest version  2.3.0.12035_16 which allowed an update from apple ipod = how and where it obtained the data i am not sure must have been a backup up on an external drive. However after that process was completed it synced with my (2003) outlook calendar and has continued to do so - a few duplicates and a tad of confusion on recuring entries.  Mind you it takes a long time to perform that function (8 or 9 minutes) - but it at least does it.     Trust this may help.

I had issues syncing my S2 with Outlook 2003 via Kies, with calendar duplicate entries increasing each time I re-synced. I solved this finally by deleting the calendar on the S2 and reloading from my Outlook calendar file.
- Make sure you backup your Outlook calendar before doing this, just in case you make a mistake and lose your calendar.
- Delete the calendar on your mobile.
- Re-sync using Kies. Select only the one calendar folder in Kies (Personal Folders > Calendar, and not the All Schedules option). I had multiple calendars and these were adding duplicates.
- Make sure you replace the (blank) mobile calendar with the PC version and not the otherway round! It is very easy to lose your calendar at this point.
- During calendar re-synchronisation you should be asked if you wish to initialise the syncing log (answer YES).

I have also discovered that plugging in the USB cable should be done AFTER Kies is up and running, otherwise the connection is unreliable/nonexistent. Yes, I know that is what the manual says to do!
