Hello members ,

My phone's touch screen is not working , though its not going black or something like that ,  I m able to see everything on it ( time , new sms ), like if a call comes , I m able to see that , but cannot pick it up as touch screen is not responsive , also I cannot get pass the lock screen Crying ... my phone is hardly 7 months old , I have not dropped it from the day I brought it ... neither had any software update or that sort of ... Please help. Crying

Hello,

I am having a similar problem, ever since I upgrade to android 2.3.4 my touch screen some times doesn't respond to a touch.  When I am on a call and want to hang up it doesn't respond to me hitting the hang up red block, I push it like 3-5 times and it will finally respond.  When I get a text message some times I can't slide the message indicator to the spot that unlocks the screen.  This only started when I updated the firmware.

There are already many posts available on this forum and the internet relating to touchscreen issues.

Please use the search feature to find any fixes already discussed on this forum, you may have to search being the first page

If you try everything you find and it's still no good, then come back here with a list of things you have tried and what happened after.

That link isn't related to your issue. I think yours is a hardware issue and will need to go back to the shop. There is a few things we could try but the phone being less that a year old, you should be able to get the phone fixed free of charge.
