Please help me I am really hurt by not being able to turn my phone on.
This is what happened. My phone ran out of battery, and now the power button does not do anything. the volume up and down work, only when the battery is plugged in and charging, It will show the battery meter, and vibrates when it is charged, but I cannot turn it on at all, and I dont understand why.
The 3 button combo does not work, as many people have suggested it does, because the power button is not active. So I am sitting here with an awesome phone that will not turn on, and everyday it goes past I miss very important calls and messages and it is driving me crazy. Please someone tell me what I can do?

Did you try and take out the battery for a couple of mins and try again?

Peace.

Hello and thanks for replying,
I was hoping there was something I could do myself other than take it in to a shop, and I have tried leaving the battery out for hours, left it in the sun for an hour, taken the screws out of the back of it, but I cant get the casing off (where the battery bay is)
note, It used to start up by itself and then shut off after the Galaxy s symbol came up and it would repeat this endlessly, and when it was doing that, the three button combo worked but it only came up with 'Downloading do not disconnect device'
But now it wont even do that.
Its so damn frustrating I know the screen works still because It shows me the battery symbol charging and this is just making me even more frustrated.
Is there any other options i could do myself,
Or does anyone know how to take the inside back cover of the electronics part so that I may be able to clean the electronics?
Thanks again for your suggestions.

If you can't take the back off I suggest you don't try anything.

Try Switching the phone off and press and hold both volume up and down and slide the battery in.

This works in some cases.

Peace.
