Hi, just wanted to make my views known. Checking email on the Galaxy S is a pointless activity requiring lots of time. I hope that the new Galaxy S next year improves that. It's a great player phone but doesn't yet meet iphone standards. Normally one can make a cup of tea while apps start up. In the case of email one can make a whole meal. Samsung take your time with the new Galaxy S, make it work this time.

I don't think Samsung Reads the posts on this Site.

I check my e-mail on Galaxy S just fine. What problem are you having please mention what server and what app you are using to fetch the e-mail from.

Peace.

Gmail  is no problem. It's the other mail using the installed Galaxy S mail app. It just takes ages.

Tried K9 mail better but slow. So as a last resort rooted and applied lag fix. Now phone better than when bought it.
