I'm not quite sure if this is a hardware issue seeing as it only started after my Kies update (V2.3.3) a few weeks ago but I'll give it a shot.
In the last week, when my phone has gone into screen lock mode, either by timeout or by pressing the lock button, it will no longer unlock. Though it only occurred 3 times last week, it happened twice in the last hour and it's becoming a problem. Thinking the battery had died, I tried pressing and holding the power button, no luck. I also called my phone and it vibrated (it was on vibrate) but the screen did not turn on to display the caller.
So far I have found that the only way to fix this issue is to remove the battery and restart my phone. My searches for a remedy have been quite useless, most answers are to update the phone but Kies is telling me my software is up to date. Any help would be appreciated.
