I have a samsung galaxy s i9000 and my battery is draining really quickly. I fully charge it each night, and the next day it tends to die around 3-4 in the afternoon even if I haven't made any phone calls or really even used the phone.
I've gone to a few different phone places to see if my battery is faulty, but it seems it might be the phone constantly trying to access the internet, as I turned my brightness down and my wallpaper is plain black. BUT - I don't have any applications/widgets running (just autosync to calendar), but for some reason my 3G symbol is constantly flashing green and red arrows. Yesterday I clicked all of my applications off and my 3G symbol actually disappeared and I had 90% battery all day. It only came on if I went onto the internet or used an ap, but it turned itself off when I went out. Today when I turned the phone on, I tapped off all my other applications, but the 3G symbol has stayed on all day again, draining the battery.
Does anyone know how I can have my phone only access the internet when I click into programs? Or what I might need to do to stop running this mystery program? (i tried tapping off the autosync but the 3G symbol still kept flashing).
