Battery Drain

Ok lets check for some battery culprits. Altho 3 hours is a little too much with screen off.
First of all delete that task killer. Trust me the builtin one works amazingly good
instead of the task killer use OCLF to change the policy to strict. Second tell me what u have on autosync
the more u have on push the more pressure u put on ur 2g-3g and that sure sucks up batt fast.
Bluetooth? Wifi? Only switch on when needed
Those small things changed my batt life around a lot
if all this didnt help. I would recommend a fresh flash of the FW ur using and make sure.to delete the battery stats
a little batt recalbration also helps with that 100% issue

if all this didnt help.  U my friend have a faulty phone
old usage on my phone batt would last half a day but now i reach midnight with 50% left

I've turned auto-sync off on all the applications that I don't need it for. I've also turned my screen brightness to the lowest setting with a timeout of 30seconds. I should know in a few hours if all this helped or not. I did delete advanced task killer, it seemed like a bit of a dud.

The other weird thing it's doing (my wife has the same phone with no issues), is on facebook. When I'm at the screen that allows u to choose from the 6 options such as chat, photos, news feed etc...when I'm not on wi-fi it says "cannot retrieve notifications at this time, network reset by peer. Try again later". Any idea what this is all about? I've removed facebook and re-installed but it still does it. My wife's SGS doesn't do this. Maybe I'm just not meant to have a smartphone, lol. Back to the old Motorolar Razr maybe?? (God I hope not)

It's the facebook for Android app. I think my 3G is turned on, I'm assuming that is in the settings somewhere. I'll have a look
