I'm suppost to post this on the How, What & Where, but see nobody had posted anything in this contest, so, let me start the ball rolling.

On out Galaxy S, if you're still using the default Samsung TouchWiz home screen, you can change 3 of those 4 main icons at the bottom. Just click [Applications]...

In applications drawer screen, press the Menu button on your device...

Then click [Edit]...

At this point, you will see a white outline covering the left and top of every icons, once you see this, you can Long Press any of the 3 left most icons on the shortcut bar at the bottom, drag them into your applications drawer and vice-verse...

After you have your shortcut bar setup however you want, press the Menu button on your device and then tap [Save].

In addition, you can also move the applications menus' icons around to arrange them in any way you want, example: your most use applications on the first page, games on another, etc. You can have blank space too. It’s all up to you.

I have a discovery/tip to share:

If you want to access a quick search box from ANYWHERE, just hold the settings button (the left button at the lower panel) for a second and it will pop up.

For applications like Music Player, doing this will pop up a music-specific search box. So go ahead, hold it and explore further Happy

To remove a word that is misspelled in swype just enter the word on a screen then highlight it. A screen will pop up and ask if you want to remove the word from Swype.

You need to highlight the word on screen by selecting the text, then tap the swype button, then you will have the chance to remove the word from the swype / T9 dictionary.

Battery saving tip

This only improves when your phone is idle. Go to the Ram manager of the task manager and use level 2 clear to wipe all the applications then use the power button to close the screen of your galaxy. The difference is that when you go to your home screen it will open all the widgets and consume the battery. I also thought that you might not receive any notifications like text messages because all the apps are close but I was still able to receive a text. I hope this will be able to save more battery for our hungry galaxy. hope this somehow helps. Big Smile
