About 7 months ago I upgraded to Gingerbread 2.3.3.  Today Kies tells me that I have an new firmware upgrade But doesn't tell that improvements this should entail.

I downloaded & installed the upgrade & the phone now tells me that I have version 2.3.6.  What If any difference is there in this upgrade?  The only thing that I can see is that all of my icons on the home screen have been moved about.

I since see on this site that 2.3.6 that this upgrade has bee around since late last year why hasn't it been offered before?
