I tried to flash my phone to froyo, unfortunately in the process of doing so I flashed to to froyo for the Gs-I9000 instead of the one for the vibrant. I figured I would just wipe and try again, but when I went into the recovery menu, I couldn't toggle any of the selections, the up/down keys are reversed for me, and I can't access download mode (either by holding both volume buttons when connecting to USB or doing the same with battery removal or replacement) I also can't get the phone to boot into android any more. Did I brick this one, and should I just pony up to insurance and get it replaced for the 50 bucks it cost, or do you guys know of anything I could do? Thanks for any help you can offer, it's greatly appreciated.

Hmm.

OK Try removing the Battery for 15~20 Mins

Then Hold Both Up and Down Buttons and slide the Battery in.

Don't touch the Home or power button.

This should get you into download Mode.

Peace.

It worked, after hours upon hours of finegling. Only problem is, now that I've flashed back to the Galaxy S framework, whenever I boot up I still have the GT-I9000 opening screen for a second. When I try to reboot into Clockwork Mod recovery it doesn't give me the option to install from zip, only to reinstall packages. Any suggestions on how to get rid of the first part and potentially fix the second?
