Hi. I have a Samsung Galaxy I9000B, Froyo 2.2 and decided to upgrade it to GeingerBread by Kies. It failed and my phone crashed. So, I did some research on the forums and could revive the unit. Then, I searched and found other customized ROMs, but the instructions of all of them suggested to backup the data using Titanium, which I downloaded for the Market. Then I discovered that I needed root privileges. I searched various sources and decided by the CF-Root-JPJPA-v1.2-Busybox-1.17.1, found in <http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108>. I installed it by Odin and everything worked out. But when the result was to verify, the phone did not work. The opening screen does not slide to unlock the device. After many attempts I managed, but the difficulty to trigger an item is huge, when, after all, you did make it. The commands do not work. The screens do not scroll. Select an item requires a tremendous amount of patience. After these problems, I looked for solutions in the interner. Following then, I cleaned the TWLauncher: no avail. I made a new root to the root of the Galaxy, with update.zip also not resolved. Reset to the factory status, and continued in a last attempt did not work out. I run an unroot. The root was uninstall, but nothing has changed on the device which, incidentally, receives calls, that I can not meet because I can not select anything.
Sorry for the long text, but I urgently need a solution to not having to seek technical assistance and stay at least 10 days without the Galaxy. Does anyone know what can be done? Please help me.
