Hi there. Can anyone help???? I have a GalaxyS GT-I9000 which is bringing up an issue.

It says: The application Tw Launcher (process com.sec.android.app.twlauncher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. Then a button Force close.
problem is nothing works on the phone. I can hold the power on button for 10 secs then it reboots and brings up the same message. I have removed the battery to try and force the phone to reset but this doesn't work either. Could somebody please give me some suggestions. thanks

In your place I would use Odin to reflash* the stock rom and than reinstall the LauncherPro. It works great and didn't force close for me now (using it just a couple of days, but feels and acts way more stable. You can download it from the Market.

Before reflashing, you need to make sure that your downloading mode is operational.

Turn off your phone:
Press:
volume down (and hold)
home (and hold)
power button (and hold)

You should get the yellow android dude working on a stop sign or something. From there you plug it on your PC and work from there...

Problems with TWlauncher are frequent, so consider swapping

I had the same issue on Samsung Galaxy S2.
I managed to enter the main settings menu from the home screen immediately after the phone was started up.
There was a small period on startup before the errors started to appear. Not much time, but just enough to enter the settings menu.
Once in the settings menu, the errors didn't appear. If I was to exit the menu to home screen the errors only then would appear.

So I fortunately managed to do a software reset successfully on mine by acting quickly at phone boot

I'm doing this right now. The screen shows a yellow picture of an android doing shoveling "downloading....do not turn off target!!!". This has been almost 20 minutes. Is this normal? why is it taking too long to download??? Pls advise.
