Hi all, hope someone can help. Recently updated to gingerbread and beginning to wish I hadn't. Battery consumption seems worse although speed does seem better. My main problem may seem trivial but it's really bugging me, to the point I may roll back to froyo. I listen to a lot of fm radio and previously an incoming call would pause the radio and then resume once the call ended. Now the radio refuses to re-start. As a motorcyclist it's very annoying to have to pull over to restart the radio. Has anyone else had this problem, am I missing something or is this a genuine bug? Cheers, Guy.

1. battery life: check in menu>settings>applications>Running services:
Pls. tell me what apps are running?
2. Battery drain depends on your settings as well.
   (Sync, Data enabled, etc.)
3. Being on stock Gingerbread ROM I used Samsung's headphones for phoning. It worked fine.
(I don't have time to listen to the radio). Smile

(If a think is worth doing at all it's worth doing well.)

Hi, sorry for the tardy reply.
Services running are;  settings, daily briefing (cached), maildroyd, news republic, traffic monitor , zd clock, contract killer (game, not my profession;-) , must delete -rubbish), hullomail, drm content, software update, google services, sns (seems to be in a permanent state of re-starting), swype. At guesstimate, I'd say battery life is about 10% worse then froyo.

Sync and all that stuff is generally of.

Headset works fine, just won't un-pause the radio after a call, unacceptable if on
the motorway, grrr.  Cheers.

Sofware update eats the battery. You should freeze/uninstall it.
