Hi everybody!
I'm new in this forum and I hope to find an answer to my problem that annoys me since last monday and i do not find any helpful information about this:
I just got a SGS and want to connect it to a bluetooth device that supports only SPP. And this seems to be the problem: my phone does not detect it, other phones and my PC bluetooth adapter do easily. Even sending some bytes per terminal and COM from PC to bluetooth is no problem.
I read, that the samsung bluetooth stack is kind of buggy and there might be problems with some sort of bluetooth, but officially it supports SPP and there is no official comment or article about problems...
So I am really annoyed because I need this connection to work or need an explanation why it does not..
Is it possible to root the phone with for example this Mocado Custom rom (could this solve it?) or is there anything i can try out? if not, an explanation whats the problem would even satisfy me greatly.
