I cannot disable 3g/H connection on my Samsung Galaxy S (2.2 android) with APNdroid anymore. The only way it works is by turning off data connection option through the power button (but then MMSs are disabled too and I don't want that).

Problem is because everything worked fine up till now. When I disable conn through the app (APNdroid or APN onOff) it still adds android suffix to my apn point and the conn icon at the top disappears for a sec but then it reappears and it switches between 3g and H conn normally. I can go on internet, sync and all...

Anyone has any idea how to fix this? Will be very grateful for any kind of help!

nvm... It was my provider. They implemented some new function that enables you to use your conn on the phone even if your APN address is not set up properly. So off course APNdroid becomes useless...

Thanks for the update. Some of the"problems" we see really are Provider "features".
